Potential referee’s must be at least 12 years of age to register for the Grade 9 referee class. Membership with OBSL is necessary to be put on the roster. You must pay the required fee to register. The current fee $55.00. After you take the class and pass the required test, you will become an official referee. After you have completed the class and are certified, notify OBSL. You will be instructed to purchase the uniform and necessary accessories. Your equiptment to referee is your responsbility to procure and maintain. If you are 14 or older, you may take the Grade 8 class, which is a 3 day class. After passing the required tests, notify Kevin McCormick at travel@obsl.com and you will be eligible to referee travel games.
